Can A Swollen Armpit Lymph Node Be A Perimenopausal Symptom?
Is there any association with a single swollen armpit lymph node and perimenopause or irregular periods? My most recent mammogram came back normal. As I am in the throes of perimenopause, I am wondering if any connections have been made with estrogen levels and lymph nodes?

Perimenopause, the time span women go through between having regular periods and ending their menstrual cycle for good, comes with a number of side effects. These can include sleeplessness; irregular, widely spaced periods;heavier menstrual bleeding, and mood swings, among others. All of this is due to fluctuations inhormonelevels.
The main reason you'd experienceswollen lymph nodes- infection - has nothing to do with perimenopause, however. Lymph nodes can swell any time they're working to fight an infection somewhere in your body.
